Matt Thompson is the Managing Director of Airsys United Kingdom and Director of Airsys Europe. With over 25 years’ experience, Matt started out as an Apprentice working within the HVAC industry and upon completion, attended the University of Greenwich where he achieved a 1st class honours degree in Mechanical Engineering. After graduating, Matt began his career within the Data Centre and Telecoms sectors delivering cutting-edge cooling solutions. During this time, Matt gained extensive experience within production environments and out in the field, working in varied roles from design and sales, through to project management before being appointed a Director. With this exposure and working directly with national telecommunication providers and Data Centre operators, delivering successful million-dollar projects, Matt has gained a wealth of knowledge to ensure continued success in delivering low TCO cooling solutions. Adopting a hands-on approach at all levels of the business, ensures a clear understanding of all business functions and the respect of colleagues that allows Matt to deliver continued growth in Europe.
